What Irisphera adds to your store#

  • Size recommendations: the Find your perfect fit button builds a shopper's measurement profile and suggests a size.
  • Virtual try-on: the Try it on button shows the product on the shopper's own photo.
  • Personalised recommendations: a banner on your home and collection pages invites shoppers to create a profile, then shows products picked for them.
  • Complete the look: on Shopify, the Mix & Match section suggests products that go with the one being viewed.

The shopper journey#

  1. Create a profile

The shopper clicks Find your perfect fit and enters their measurements. Irisphera recommends a size and remembers the profile for the rest of their visit.

The profile gives a size for tops and bottoms, plus the shopper’s silhouette and palette.
  2. Try it on

The shopper clicks Try it on and takes or uploads a photo. Irisphera creates a preview of the product on them. Try-on helps shoppers picture a look; it does not guarantee real-world fit.

From the shopper’s photo to a preview of the product on them.
  3. Discover more

Once a profile exists, the store banner switches to recommendations for that shopper. Recommendations work from the measurement profile alone, so a photo is only needed for try-on.

  4. Buy

Orders are reported to Irisphera, so you can see which purchases followed a try-on in your analytics.

Catalog processing#

Before a product can be tried on, Irisphera processes it. Each platform has its own way to send your catalog: a submission on Shopify, Send all products on WooCommerce, a product feed on PrestaShop, an automatic sync on Salla or a collection through the API.

  • Products are identified by SKU, so keep SKUs stable between submissions.
  • Clothing with product images is supported. Accessories and shoes are not supported yet.
  • Some items may not get try-on or recommendations if no suitable silhouette match is found.
  • Send your catalog again whenever you add a collection or change products.

Keys and privacy#

  • Your merchant API key stays on your server. Plugins and modules never send it to shoppers' browsers.
  • Shopper requests use short-lived tokens that your store creates for each session.
  • Shoppers can use recommendations without a photo. A photo is only required for virtual try-on.

Plans and billing#

Merchant plans start at €225 per month, and virtual try-on API usage costs €0.06 per generation. Shopify plans are billed through Shopify and listed in USD in the App Store. See pricing for details.
