Before you start#

  • PrestaShop 1.7 to 9.0
  • The Irisphera module ZIP and a merchant API key, both provided by Irisphera
  • Products with SKUs (references), so they can be matched to try-on items

Get the module and your API key#

Irisphera sends you the module ZIP and your merchant API key when your account is set up. Request access if you don't have them yet.

Install the module#

  1. Upload in Module Manager

In your back office, go to Modules → Module Manager, click Upload a module and drop in the ZIP.

  2. Open the configuration

When the upload finishes, click Configure on the Irisphera module.

Add your API key#

  1. API Configuration

Make sure Enable Irisphera is on, paste your key into API Key and click Save. Keep the key secret; it is only used server-side.

Important

Leave the Developer Settings panel empty. Its fields override the production defaults and are only needed for testing.

Submit your product feed#

  1. Send your catalog

In the Product Feed panel, click Submit Product Feed. Your whole catalog is sent to Irisphera.

Each submission appears in Submission History with its date, product count and result. Submit again after catalog changes.

What shoppers see#

  • Product pages: a Try it on block with size recommendations, shown through the displayProductAdditionalInfo hook. In the Classic theme it sits near the add-to-cart button. It only appears for products with a SKU.
  • Home and category pages: a banner inviting shoppers to create a profile, which switches to their recommendations once they have one.
  • Purchases are reported to Irisphera so you can see which orders followed a try-on.
Custom themes can place the block anywhere with the widget tag
{widget name='irisphera'}

Labels and uninstalling#

  • Change the button text in International → Translations under the module translations for Irisphera.
  • Uninstalling the module removes all of its settings and data tables from your store.
