Install Irisphera on WooCommerce
Upload the Irisphera WordPress plugin, connect your API key, send your catalog and show virtual try-on on WooCommerce product pages.

Before you start#
- WordPress 6.5 or newer and PHP 8.1 or newer
- WooCommerce installed and active (HPOS and the Checkout block are supported)
- The Irisphera plugin ZIP and a merchant API key, both provided by Irisphera
Get the plugin and your API key#
Irisphera sends you the plugin ZIP (irisphera-wordpress-<version>.zip) and your merchant API key when your account is set up. Request access if you don't have them yet.
Install the plugin#
Upload the ZIP
In wp-admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP and click Install Now.
Activate
Click Activate Plugin. A new Irisphera item appears in the admin menu. You need the Manage WooCommerce permission to open it.
Connect your account#
Paste your API key
Open Irisphera → Connection and paste your key into API key. It is checked with Irisphera and saved in one step.
The status panel should read Connected. Your key stays on your server and is never sent to shoppers' browsers.
Send your catalog#
Send all products
Open the Catalog tab and click Send all products. Every published product is sent, with images read from your store's public URLs.
Products without an image are skipped. The SKU identifies each product (the WordPress ID is used when there is no SKU), and try-on appears once that SKU is ready in your Irisphera catalog.
Send the catalog again after adding or changing products.
Staging or password-protected site? Use Advanced → Upload with embedded images so Irisphera doesn't need to reach your image URLs.
Show Irisphera in your store#
Product pages
The Find your perfect fit and Try it on buttons are added automatically after the add-to-cart area on single product pages.
To place them elsewhere, or if your theme doesn't show them, add this shortcode where you want them. They render only once per page.
[irisphera_product_sizing]Store banner
Add the banner to your home page or any other page. It invites shoppers to their virtual shopping assistant and switches to their recommendations once they have a profile.

Theme settings#
Open Irisphera → Theme Settings.
- Button style: mimic your WooCommerce theme buttons (default) or use Irisphera button styling.
- Button layout: Full width, Compact left aligned, Compact centered or Compact right aligned.
- Terms, Privacy and Cookies URLs: point these to your approved legal pages before launch.
- Collection: follow each shopper's consent choice (default) or turn optional data collection off for everyone. Try-on and sizing keep working either way.
Troubleshooting#
| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| Key rejected or Key not allowed | Copy the key again from your Irisphera account, or ask Irisphera to enable it. |
| Irisphera unreachable | Your server couldn't reach api.irisphera.com. Check your firewall or hosting provider's outbound rules. |
| Catalog or orders not syncing | Uploads and order events run in the background through WooCommerce Action Scheduler or WP-Cron. Make sure scheduled tasks are running. |
The Logs tab explains problems in plain language and gives you a file to send to support.
