About this policy

This policy explains how the Irisphera mobile app handles information for your account, wardrobe, outfit plans and Fashion Passport. It covers the app and its connected services. The website’s cookie policy and retailers’ own privacy notices apply separately to those websites.

Privacy contact

For privacy questions or requests about your Irisphera account, contact [email protected]. Include enough information to identify the account, but do not send passwords, sign-in codes or body photos with a support request.

Account, wardrobe and preferences

When you create an account, Irisphera stores your name, email address and account identifiers, including identifiers supplied by Apple or Google when you choose those sign-in methods. It stores the garments, photos, looks, favourites, wear history, outfit plans, measurements, usual sizes and style preferences you choose to save. This makes account features and synchronisation possible. Optional fit details and preferences help personalise recommendations. Apple’s Hide My Email may supply a relay address instead of your personal email.

Photos and optional analysis

Choosing a photo for measurement analysis keeps it on your device until you explicitly consent and request analysis. The selected photo, height and sizing profile are then sent through Irisphera to its measurement service. The app’s temporary source upload is deleted after the analysis attempt. You review and edit estimates before saving fit details. Saving the photo as a try-on portrait is a separate choice. Manual entry is available without photo analysis. Estimates do not guarantee real-world fit.

Virtual try-on and connected stores

When you request a virtual try-on, your saved portrait and selected product are sent through Irisphera to the try-on service. Generated images are temporary previews and do not replace your original portrait. Connected store sessions use an opaque account identifier. Saved favourites and wardrobe information support the features you request. Product links open the retailer’s website, whose privacy policy and checkout terms apply. Irisphera does not collect payment-card details for those external purchases.

Portrait processing and Apple Wallet

When you save a portrait, Irisphera sends a copy to fal.ai’s BiRefNet service to remove the background. A private transparent copy is stored for your Fashion Passport; the original remains the try-on source. Replacing or removing the portrait invalidates the passport copy. Adding the passport to Apple Wallet exports your saved name, fit details, style preferences and portrait into a separate pass. Apple account settings may sync that pass to other devices. Updating or deleting your Irisphera account does not update or remove an installed pass: export a new pass or remove it in Wallet yourself. Apple and Apple Wallet are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Calendar, weather and reminders

Calendar access is optional. Events are read from your device for planning, and an outfit assignment stores the event identifier, date and chosen look with your account. Events you create through Planner are added to your device calendar. Optional foreground location access provides local weather: the app sends coordinates rounded to two decimal places to Irisphera, which requests forecasts from MET Norway and caches them. The app does not request background location tracking. Optional notifications provide local reminders. Camera and photo-library access let you choose images. You can revoke device permissions in Settings; the related features will then be unavailable.

Services receiving information

Irisphera’s backend, database and file-storage services handle saved account data and photos. Apple or Google handles sign-in when you select it; email delivery services send account verification and recovery messages. Irisphera’s connected measurement and try-on services process the information needed for those requested features. fal.ai processes portrait background removal, and MET Norway receives rounded weather coordinates. Retailers receive information you provide on their own websites. This app does not include an advertising SDK or request advertising tracking permission. The app does not grant optional merchant analytics consent on your behalf.

Storage, deletion and your choices

Saved account information and original uploaded photos remain available for account features until you edit or remove them or delete the account. Temporary measurement uploads are removed after analysis attempts. Unattached abandoned uploads expire after 24 hours, and failed file cleanups are retried. Try-on previews are transient in the app. You can edit your profile, fit details and saved content, change or remove your portrait, revoke permissions and delete your account from Profile. Account deletion also requests erasure from connected store services. If erasure is pending, the app explains the state, pauses account changes and offers a retry; the account is retained until that erasure is confirmed. Installed Wallet passes remain separate copies under your control.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing of your personal data, and withdraw consent for optional processing. Contact [email protected] to make a request. Withdrawing consent does not change processing already carried out. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Recommendations and fit estimates help you choose clothing; they do not make legal or similarly significant decisions about you.

Policy updates

This policy may be updated when the app’s features or data practices change. The revision date identifies the version you are reading. Weather data is provided by MET Norway under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence.
